About Us:

You Can Make a Difference

Founded by Thelma Clark-Santiago (Lola) and her daughter Suzanne, Lola’s Helping Hand, Inc. exists for the sole purpose of helping children in rural areas of the Philippines. We exist because there is a need.

Students receive aid as long as they attend school, are in good standing with their teacher and school principal, do their homework and participate in extra curricular activities.

A child can be sponsored for as little as $30.00 per month. This pays for daily school lunches, uniform, shoes, school supplies and daily hygiene necessities. The school lunch is sometimes the only meal of the day for these students.

With your help, we can complete larger projects such as rehabbing bathrooms or installing new roofs. We also ship donated bedding, towels and sheets to the villages for distribution to the families in need.

Lola’s Helping Hand, Inc is in the process of becoming a tax exempt non-profit organization.
